Responsible for management of health, welfare and retirement benefit programs including strategy, operations, technology, communications, open enrollment, compliance, auditing, employee relations and vendor management. Developed global benefits management policies and procedures. Managed more than 60 major benefit program improvements and 250 major organizational changes during mergers, acquisitions, new business contracting and union CBA renewals. Led HR/HRIS projects including employee focus groups and surveys, re-design of total rewards program, consolidation of leave and paid-time-off policies, transition of HRIS system, and restructuring of workflow and union CBAs to minimize labor cost while remaining compliant with ACA legislation.
